Lately. And Some Links!

I've been a little MIA lately... been contemplating a few things, feeling lazy and avoiding turning on my laptop!

For starters, I've been thinking about changing things up around here. I really, really want to change my blog name. I think I have a new name picked out that I like. The only catch is that I will have to put the word 'blog' into the URL. Not quite sure what I think about that.! Hopefully I'll make a decision about this sooner than later.

Lot's has been happening around us. Some, okay all, of which has been making me feel out of sorts and has put me into a funk. As a result, my motivation to do anything has dwindled.

We also started playing HayDay on the iPad. BIG mistake. We are hooked and are spending too much time playing it. We have also been watching a lot of the Olympics. Another reason why this hasn't seen much love.

What I'm reading on the WWW....

+ 7 Herbal Remedies for Stress.

+ How to Fall Asleep when Your Mind Won't Shut Off.

+ Why Major Creative Breakthroughs happen in Your Late Thirties.

What I'm cooking...

+ Best Bread Machine Bread.

+ Chicken Broccoli Divan.

+ Roast Beef with Peppers and Onions.

Gipsy Dharma.

Who doesn't love handmade, one of a kind clothing and footwear?!

I recently I came across a really cool brand from the UK, Gipsy Dharma. Their collection currently includes leather footwear and skirts. One thing I really like about this brand is that each piece is unique and tells a story. Gipsy Dharma is much more than just a brand, it is a passion for handmade clothing and leather footwear.

Here are my two favorites from their website..

01 // Flip Flops - with the warm weather a few months away, I can't help but be drawn to these white flip flops. They are both stylish and look very, very comfortable.

02 // Knee High Boots - I am loving these brown leather knee high boots. They also look very comfortable (and I am all about comfortable boots these days!).

Gipsy Dharma also holds weekly giveaways! They are currently on giveaway 18! Don’t worry, it takes less than a minute to enter and the winner will be chosen at random on this coming Saturday, February 16th.  Click here for more information and here to enter!

Good luck!

Instagram Favorite // @ifitwags

When my blog posts are far and few in between, chances are you can still find me on instagram! I am addicted to this platform. Currently, one of my favorite instagram feeds is from Gus and Travis (aka the Pointer Brothers). I absolutely adore these guys! I secretly wish I could make my dog Dakota model like them, but sadly, I know he would never go for it (unless you count wrapping his mom's red blanket around him).

If you aren't already following these handsome fella's on instgram, you should! You won't be disappointed!!

Food Hack // Freezing Yogurt.

I love making drinking smoothies.

I also like to buy yogurt and let it sit in the fridge until it is past it's expiry date. I become lazy and never want to put in the effort to make them. So, the yogurt sits, and sits, and sits in the fridge. I hate wasting food, so I am surprised I never thought about his before... frozen yogurt cubes!

Such a simple solution, and a brilliant one too. Using a small ice cube tray, spoon the yogurt into each section, place in the freezer over night (until solid) and transfer into a zip-lock bag (and return to the freezer)!

Oh, and you can freeze these cubes up to 1-3 months.
