I noticed this evening that I have lost a blog follower. I know I shouldn't take it personally. Perhaps it was my rant? I'm not sure. The past few days, I have been going through past blog posts trying to re-link everything back to their sources -- something I should done from the beginning. It's done and hopefully I never have to think about it again.
Anyways, thanks to all that have been following my blog! :-)
I don't think you should worry at all. Sometimes people realize that the blogs they're following just aren't what they're interested in reading after all. You win some, you lose some.

Thanks English! You're right - you win some, you lose some! :)
DeleteWhat does it mean to relink to their sources? I'd love you to shine some light on that if it means I should be doing it. Good luck on the followers issue. Really, we can't take it with more than a grain of salt. They come and go. Visiting from the blog hop.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Jelli!
DeleteSorry, I should have better explained myself in my post...
Any time you use a photo that you find from the internet, the ethical thing would be to create a link back to the source website. Its kind of a grey area, especially with now with social bookmarking websites, such as pinterest.
I have started using pinterest to manage all my internet images. The reason being, when you "pin" your photo from a website, it has a link back to the website you found it on. When adding a image to my blog post, I add the image via copying the image URL from pinterest (right click, copy image url) to my blog, then I link the actual pinterest url where the pin is to that image.
That way, when somebody clicks on the image, it takes them to my pinterest account (where they can follow) and it also shows them where the image came from.
I could be terribly wrong in my way of thinking...!
Dont sweat it. for all you know, someone could have left blogger. GFC is only available to Bloggers now. But I just added you so that 's plus 1 :)
